Ribbons of Light

Ribbons of Light was designed as a response to a National Request for Proposals sponsored by the Municipality of Anchorage, Alaska, to design, fabricate, deliver and install an inspirational public sculpture for the campus of the Anchorage Senior Center. I chose the Northern Lights as a topic, painted on bent steel, meant to mimic the waves of light seen in the sky in that part of the world.
