Pill Bug

One of the cutest insects around, the “Rolly Polly”, or Pill Bug, lies under every stone, log and leaf under our feet, yet we pay them no mind. They selflessly clean and scavenge our soil, eating decaying leaves, grasses, and mulch, returning vital nutrients back into the ground, without harming, and ball up when threatened, like an armadillo!

To honor this intrepid insect, I plan to weld cut pieces of up cycled propane tank caps, motorcycle gas tanks and rebar, to create a 5 ft version and display them wherever I can, in as many states as I can, for as long as I can.
