Aquatobot

Drifting silently beneath the alien seas of distant moons and water-worlds, the Aquatobot is a retro-futuristic robotic jellyfish built for exploration where no human diver could survive. Its distinctive metal bell pulses with blue reactor light as it propels itself through dark oceans, while a cluster of articulated robotic arms unfolds beneath its body to collect strange minerals, repair damaged equipment, map submerged ruins, and retrieve samples from the seafloor.

Equipped with sonar, radiation sensors, cameras, and miniature drilling tools, the mechanical creature can descend into crushing depths, navigate volcanic trenches, and investigate mysterious underwater ecosystems—all while transmitting its discoveries across millions of miles of space.

Designed in the optimistic style of the space age, the Aquatobot resembles something imagined by a 1950s futurist: part deep-sea creature, part flying saucer, and entirely devoted to discovering what lies beneath the oceans of other worlds.
